Broke and blind

Up to 70 percent of Norwegian students are nearsighted, and it gets worse for each examination period.

Nearsighted

  • What: Happily blind

Several thousand kroner are spent annually to buy personalized glasses and contact lenses so as to be able to see the letters in your curriculum. It is important not to rush. If you buy half a year's supply of lenses right before the exam period, you risk having to throw the remaining afterwards, simply because your vision has worsened.

So: let the lenses stay home, put on the old glasses, and go on reading as a half blind cow. You can read easily, and you don’t have to throw longing glances at the beautiful weather outside. Investments in contacts should be made in late June when holiday money is coming.
