Leonard Siegert (21, Germany)

What is your favorite thing about Norwegians?

They’re fun at parties.

What is the most Norwegian thing you have participated in?

I’ve eaten as much brunost as I am breathing air.

What do you think of the Winter Olympics?

I don’t watch sports. I enjoy that South and North Korea pretend like they get along.

Kyoka Fujimoto (20, Japan)

What is your favorite thing about Norwegians?

They’re kind.

What is the most Norwegian thing you have participated in?

I’ve been skiing, sledding and hiking.

What do you think of the Winter Olympics?

I haven’t been watching. Except for skating. I’m from Japan, and they got gold and silver in skating.

Ruben Cohen (20, France)

What is your favorite thing about Norwegians?

About Norwegian people? Oh, wow, I don’t know, really. Don’t tell them I said that.

What is the most Norwegian thing you have participated in?

I don’t know, trekking in the forest, maybe? I’ve tried cross-country skiing, and I do sports every day, which I feel is a Norwegian thing.

What do you think of the Winter Olympics?

I don’t watch it. It’s fun, but it’s much less interesting than the Summer Olympics. Especially now, because it is so far away, in South Korea.

Auguste Adomaityte (23, Lithuania)

What is your favorite thing about Norwegians?

Very chill people. Very polite, not very out there, I feel relaxed around them.

What is the most Norwegian thing you have participated in?

The 17th of May breakfast. That was just a weird thing. People were drinking in the middle of the day. You’ve got to join everything, though!

What do you think of the Winter Olympics?

I am not following at all. I mean, who cares? Well, I guess my Norwegian flatmates do.

Auguste Adomaityte (23, Lithuania)

Mohammed Alizi (21, Egypt)

What is your favorite thing about Norwegians?

They’re not talkative, I like that. When I lived abroad, everyone would start talking to each other. Complete strangers!

What is the most Norwegian thing you have participated in?

Probably VG-festen [VG-lista topp 20, a series of free concerts every summer], because it’s a concert sponsored by a Norwegian newspaper

What do you think of the Winter Olympics?

I am not following it. I am interested in the country that they are placing it in, Vietnam. Oh wait, it’s not Vietnam, is it?
