Small-smaller-smallest

Following episodes in which law students have kicked and damaged a water closet, broken down a barbed wire fence and urinated on a Security Guard during a post-examination party, Frokostkjelleren – the Law Faculty\'s bar – was closed by the University\'s Technical Director for the remainder of the term 26 May. Several of the culprits involved had also tried to start a book bonfire on the premises, and had been asked to leave repeatedly. The three first-year students in question have been banned from Frokostkjelleren and membership of Juristforeningen. Silje Alund, the daily manager of Frokostkjelleren, observes that they have committed social suicide. Frokostkjelleren has now been reopened, following the implementation of a number of measures to improve security.

When Kent Volla measured up his student bedsit at Sogn student accommodation, he discovered that it was rather smaller than the 12 square metres SiO, the students\' welfare organization, had advertised it as. The bedsit proved to be a mere 10.5 square metres large. Lawyer Per Oddvar Pallum in the Tenants\' Association encourages students who make similar discoveries to demand a rent reduction.
