Breaking the Law

Students who fail to produce a renewed rental contract for renting student housing are fined with 300 kroner. According to Juss Buss, the student organisation of law students which offers legal advice, this is illegal. Last year, when the same matter was addressed in the media, SiO (The Students Association) argued that students agreed to being fined in case of late submission of contract renewals when they sign the initial contract.
