Having arrived at the basement, Arum had no alternative, and had On other days the lifts are out of order for hours, barring Arum from getting to his classes. He ends up returning home without having studied.
Terje Skog, spokesperson for the Elevator Fitters’ Union, informs Universitas that an independent business has been established in order to take care of lift repairs during the strike. However, the lifts at Blindern are so old that they will need replacing in the near future.
BI Students to Join SiO
The students of the privatelyrun Institute of Business Administration BI will join the Student Welfare Association at the University of Oslo (SiO). SiO is set to expand with a further 8000 students in August 2005. It is expected that the expansion will strengthen SiO’s range of services. The addition also means that BI students will be given access to SiO accommodation, with prices below the current market rate.
