A white paper to be submitted by the Committee for Family, Administration and Culture to Stortinget (The Parliament) on Thursday, suggests giving institutes of higher education the right to use affirmative action in order to ensure the presence of women in male–dominated courses of studies, but not vice versa. Ingunn Ysen, the Director of the Centre for Sexual Equality, points out that this is discriminatory towards men.
